At the age of 21, Kim gave birth to her daughter as a college student. She was barely taking care of herself and she didn’t have a clue as to how she would care or provide for a kid. This was a decade ago… Struggling, living check-to-check, without any type of vision for her life…
Little did she know, becoming a single mom would be the catalyst to sharing her journey and creating a community designed specifically for single black moms. Single Black Motherhood has opened the door to so many opportunities and connections.
Today, you can find Kim thriving, working towards her vision, traveling the world with and without her daughter, hosting retreats, and most importantly - helping single moms improve their life!

READING
Kim loves reading books in her spare time. You can find her curled up on her couch with a book or soaking in a hot bubble bath with a book.
Self-help books (she’s a life long learner) are her faves and sometimes she dives into fiction.
TRAVEL
Book Kim a flight any day and she’s happy. She loves exploring the world, trying new foods, and learning about different cultures. Sometimes, she feels like she is working to travel. She loves enjoying luxe hotels and spas whether it’s solo, with her kid, friends, or the community.
PLANNING
Kim enjoys the art of planning and seeing visions go from the brain to paper then to reality. She can see the big picture, but also take time for the important details. She believes lifestyle design is real and being able to write out a vision for her life and see things happen in real time has blown her away.
DEEP CONVERSATIONS
Kim appreciates stories and learning about what people do, why they do it, and where they’ve come from. She truly believe these things help us build connections. Her friends always tell her that she never meets a stranger.
